Emily Horton, Granddaugter of 578 Suadron Pilot F/Lt Geoffrey Sanders DFC, and the editor of the 578 Squadron association newsletter the LK-Times has set herself the daunting task of interviewing as many of the surviving 578 squadron veterans as possible.
"If you have someone who served at the Squadron or can remember it in operation and would like to contribute to the interview project, please contact Emily at firstname.lastname@example.org. Before we get the donations page up and running, please contact Emily if you wish to pledge a donation. Thanks very much for your support!"

2014 – The 70th Anniversary of the formation of the 578 Squadron
To mark this occasion we are able to offer at about 30% high street prices a range of scarves, made in Ayr, Scotland, from a lamb’s wool and angora blend. They are not cashmere but, in looks and feel they are very similar to the cashmere equivalent.
Choose between bamboo, cedar red, derby grey and navy.
All profits will be donated towards the production costs of the 70th Anniversary Surviving Veteran Film Project.
The scarves will be sold at £30 each inclusive of postage and package.
